The Philippines still uses 50-pound cotton flour sacks in their mills and there are discarded coconut shells in abundance. We saw an opportunity to do more than provide a meal or some cash, so we set out to create a way for our Filipino friends to have ongoing work and positively impact their communities around them.

Almost immediately, we designed bags and aprons using discarded flour sack bags and coconut shells; turning valueless resources into valuable creations. Our local friends began sewing wonderful upcycled products! Quickly after that we couldn’t keep up with orders so we found more individuals who needed and wanted an opportunity.

Pruiba Provisions creates one of a kind, upcycled cotton flour sack products at an unbeatable price. We don’t just provide an awesome product, we are impacting countless lives in the Philippines and across the world. How we got here today happened in ways we could not have imagined.

Our family lived in the Philippines for over 20 years. During that time we observed a lot of poverty and struggle for locals to find work and earn an income. Some of our neighbors came to us asking for help and instead of giving them a handout, we wanted to give them an opportunity. They told us they used to be production seamstresses (working in large factories), but now had no work.
OUR IMPACT

We help multiple families and with a large portion of our profits. We also give them an opportunity for work which allows them to put food on the table, pay for their children's education, buy clothes and medicine, and so much more. In the Philippines, the majority of the population lacks necessities we take for granted every day.
​
With your help, we will be able to help construct homes, dig wells for clean water, facilitate feeding programs, and the list goes on.

We started by helping one of our local Filipino neighbors and today we are helping multiple families in various communities across the country! Even better, our friends are changing their communities, creating jobs, improving lives, and the stories are endless!
They don’t need a hand out, just an opportunity. The Filipino people are some of the most genuine and hard working people we have ever had the pleasure to meet.
